Normally I'd say this has United written all over it but it would honestly be a crime for Woodward to buy another £90m forward on Sanchez wages (because he's not coming for less) given the needs elsewhere in that team. He's great on his day mind you, but 29 in July, injured every season (exhibit a being his complaint that he was ONLY injured five weeks this year but has been fit since), and has a game that may not age well. In two years him and Sanchez could be an absolute anchor on that wage bill.

However, I don't remember the last time a team won the UCL with an MF as its focal point. Sooner or later we're going to need that arrogant prick high on confidence in the forward line because they're usually the ones changing/deciding games in knockout ties of UCL (the only weakness of our club in the past 10 years).

Yes, even the media are starting to accept that we're the biggest show in town.
