The other players mentioned= Top draw centre mid-field players.

Fletcher can ONLY stop other teams playing he does NOTHING else than is why he is a Henchman.

Is that simple and straight forward enough

I am a blue but one has played regularly in a team that has won the last 3 leagues. I'm not sure there is anything in it. No blues would swap barry for fletcher but i doubt many rags would swap Fletcher for Barry either.

A lot of people say Fletcher is rubbish, and then say Carrick is rubbish, and then say Scholes has seen better days, and Anderson is laughable etc. Well our league must be toss then if that midfield is winning the league

At the end of the day face it that these players are better than we think and no matter what side the rags put out it will be a tough game to even get a point. I'd snatch your hand off for a point right now.

How do you know what fletchers market value is? Hes never been for sale as far as I am aware in the last 18months

We wouldn't sell Richards for 12 million - not sure that that makes him a 12 million pound plus player, if you see what I mean.

Fair enough if you rate Fletcher that highly. I'd like to think he'd need to perform at a level for three or four seasons before we could start comparing him to Barry...
