just because he's not an all action tackler like De Jong English fans don't like him. Also people say Yaya should play ahead of him which truly stumps me. So far all i've seen is a big Ivorian lump who wanders around the field like he's walking back to the shops. The people who hate Barry are the ones who continually defend Adebayor,they just like the glamour player whose come from a fashionable club. Barry was the best player on the pitch against chelsea, imo, and it's strange that if he's so shit Hughes and Mancini use(d) him in pretty much all their games and he's played for every England manager since Keegan. Strange that.

You can't possibly defend Barry... its his fault the first goal came. Nasri was his man to follow and he just stopped and let him through.

It was the most pathetic attempt I have ever seen... I wouldnt of been arsed about the goal if Gareth had actually tried to run and follow him. All he fucking had to do was jog and the angle would of been too difficult for Nasri to score. I couldnt believe what I had seen. He's been a right lazy twat at times.

And it annoys me so much because the likes of Adam Johnson are performing week in week out but still can't make it into the 11 but Barry is the most inconsistant player on the field, one week he's great... next week he doesnt exist.

He's a 5 or 6/10 player for long periods, puts in the occasional 8 or 9/10 every couple of months of so, but he's been a passenger for the majority of the time he's been here. Mancini has to choose between Milner or Barry, in my opinion, then play the one he chooses in the middle.

He's a good player but he lets himself down by forgetting to do the easy stuff. When you're 10 men down you need to make sure you track any runs in behind as you are unlikely to have anyone covering you and Barry just let Nasri run off him for the first goal, it was easily avoidable had Barry just tracked the run of Nasri but he just stood there ball watching

I think barry did have a bad game ysterday but i still think he is a very decent player and has proved it on many occasions! I also believe that the team we played yesterday should be the team we put out against the rags but obviously with Kolarov in at left back and kolo in at centre back! When we play smaller opposition such as wolves then Barry/toure could be sacrificed in order for Silva to move inside and work his magic and AJ to move out onto the right!
