From a poor last season to being right in the race for the title is a big improvement. Injury to Bunny was the killer blow in the run-in, City at the start of the season would have bitten your hand off for Champions League football, The truth is taylors main aim was a place in the Champions League, The Title would have been the bonus,
 
The squad is not physically strong enough. Ability yes but it showed in the second half. Men against boys if you excuse the ironic phrase. Looks like they have blown it unless Tottenham do something. He didn't have a strong bench and maybe that is why the were fews subs but it was strange.

We had a lot of experienced defenders on the bench and obvious changes could/should have been made. We were very lightweight up front and the way we were playing made it nonsensical to leave the 4 of them on the pitch. If only we'd have had someone with real leadership abilities on the bench (/s). Kelly once again ineffectual in the centre so why not swap that around like the previous week? Try something to affect the game positively at least rather than just wait for the inevitable to happen.

Probably a good job that they did Steph's presentation before the game rather than after when the mood (other than Taylor's) would've been more despondent.
 
Bristol City fighting like fuck v us and bending right over for Chelsea is rather annoying but that was probably a sign that out form was starting to slip without Bunny.

Though the most pivotal game is still the one the ref handed to Chelsea at the start of the season.

It will be disappointing not to win the league now tbh but with Hayes going Chelsea will suffer and the league could be set up for a boring spell of City domination.

To be fair to Bristol, we had 32 shots v them, more than Chelsea but without Shaw we have a severe lack of goal scorers and it was 0-0 at half time and we only got the 4th in the 98th minute. I said at the time it was a huge wasted opportunity as Chelsea would get 5 or 6 v them at home.

Agree with that corrupt Chelsea game early in the season, never seen a red card like it before or after but only ourselves to blame for a complete shit show in the 2nd half v Arsenal and a severe lack of game management by Taylor.
 
Admitting not a avid follower of the womans team,but been to a few games and watch a few on TV.Basically I will support any Manchester City team.However from my limited knowledge of the team it looks like the manager/coach is not up to scratch.He seem un-reactive to any changes in the game.I notice this in most games I watch them play.Its like watching Gareth Southgate looking dumbfounded on the touchline for england(must be something about the first name).He always seems to be one step behind the better coach's.Tactically inept.Yesterday was a good example,Arsenal changed things and City didn't react.Not sure a failed mens is necessary the right person to coach an elite level womans team.Maybe a coach with a proven background in the womans game would understand the nuances the womans game a little better.
