Exactly. A few years ago it was China. Back in the 80s and 90s it was Japan. Pele played in America at the end of his career. The reality is that players are not going to give up on the chance to win the biggest titles for money. Maybe one or two, or a few players that have already won it all, but not in big enough numbers. And that's before we even consider the prospect of living in Saudi Arabia. I mean I'm sure it's nice enough if you're a millionaire, but are 23 or 24 year old men really going to be crawling over broken glass to live in a strict religious theocracy when they can be multi-millionaires in Western Europe while also getting a shot at the big prizes?Give it 5 years and that experiment will be over for many, many reasons.
