Hughes and his staff were about to make our owners, club and ourselves look a joke the owners and the board (mainly Cook) has done what it take to try and avoid that.

Good ridance to bad rubbish, that includes any city fan who aint behind the owners, board, manager and team.

Jimmy Grumble: I love how you say Hughes and his staff were trying to make the club look a joke, yet you find it completely acceptable for Garry Cook to make us a laughing stock every time he appears in the media, he has a backlog of blunders as long as Tiger Woods list of conquests. Fans are entitled to criticise the players and management if they have performed badly on a match day, therefore they shouldn't have to idly sit by and pretend they are ok with Garry Cook embarrasing the club on a regular basis. We support MCFC, Garry Cook doesn't play and he isn't the manager so there is no need to offer him support whatsoever, me thinking he's the biggest plonker at the club has no bearing on how supportive I'm going to be to the team and Mancini. On the other hand I want City to be successful off the pitch and have a postitive public image, Cook's job is to ensure MCFC is well represented and appears an attractive proposition to potential players/managers and fans, from his history of cringeworthy errors and yesterdays debacle he has done nothing but damage our public image. The media and other fans are all laughing at City today and the reason for that is Garry Cook. The owners got rid of Hughes because they don't settle for mediocrity, well to describe Cook's performances since he joined as mediocre would be extremely generous.

Garry Cook! Hmmmm, Garry Cook! What do i think of Garry Cook!? Well, he made himself and us as a club look amateurish and naive in the Kaka saga! He proper shit on a City legend in Richard Dunne and treated the guy like shit! Now he's trying to fool the world that City didnt make this new manager decision weeks ago and then tortured Hughes through the last few games and, like Dunne, treated Hughes like shit!

I dont particularly trust this fella with the future of our club! Id rather he just came out lastnight and told the truth - "okay, heres the situation: we spoke to Hiddiink, we spoke to Mancini and a number of other managers 3 weeks ago when some guy from the media saw us! We paid him to keep his mouth shut about it all but it came out earlier than we wanted to before the game on Saturday! I apologise to Mark Hughes and admit we did do things in the wrong way! Im new to this football game and am still learning, so are City as the new club we are! We will get it right in the future!"
Id have a lot more respect for him if he'd acted like a MAN and not slapped his hand on the table several times like a spoilt little girl!

I am fully behind Mancini BUT you can pull apart Cooks main reason this magic 70 point target...We win the next two we have 35 points half way through the season so double it and yes Hughes was on target. It was a panic decision.

For me its not the 70 point mark I think thats just some subterfuge by the club its the Tactics he puts in place away from home there was for me only one game away from home we played well Tactically and that was against everton when for me Robinho had his best away game for us we set up defensively and hit them on the break Hughes never learnt from that game

It does not make any sense, I aint embarassed by Cook, I am embarassed by the likes of you lot calling yourselves City fans.

Cook is doing his job and doing it well, he backed Hughes to the hilt and when hughes fuked it up he got told by our owners to get rid of him for a better mananger which he has done.

One of you numpties mentioned the KAKA deal, why did he embarass, himself and us??? the owner told him to give hughes what he wants, hughes said get me kaka he went off and did his best, the trouble is we aint a good proposition to kaka at this time.

Cook is a clever man and knows the sporting world, he was coe of nike and you dont get there by embarassing yourself or the company you work for.
