underperforming being 6th with a game in hand and a carling-cup semi final.....so what we've drawn to teams we should have won-ive fucking enjoyed watching this season and were rite up there! Wenger came from Japan with fuck all to his name look how he's ended up.

Your post stinks of the plastic fan brigade whose expectations have ballooned their own heads

Bollocks. I don't have to justify my support to you. Piss weak argument from someone who has nothing better.

2 wins in 11 after spending over £200m. Going backwards fast. 9 goals conceded in 3 games.

Hughes is gone (long overdue) because he WASN'T CLOSE TO BEING GOOD ENOUGH.

Accept it, stop crying, get over it or fuck off and stop damaging the club with your bullshit.

bollocks Hughes was doing alright it was Bowen the defensive coach he needed sending on his way. We were fantastic going forward we'd lost 1 game all season in normal time. Admittedly Burnley was shite, but apart from that, fulham aren't a bad side and the only reason we drew with Hull was because of one of the worst penalty decisions I've ever seen. Adding to that the fact that he took us to our first semi final in 20 years, I and many others would say that he deserved a little longer.

But its over now and we cant change the past so, although i didn't want Hughes to be sacked at this time in the season, (neither did 2/3s of this board) what's done is done so let's move forward with Mancini and pray that he can take us to the champions League

I once helped a blind old lady across the road. It doesn't mean I am good at my job. The guy comes across a right clown which reflects badly on the club....I cannot BELIEVE so many other blues on here can not see this

Neither can I mate, its so weird that they think because he does some good things for the fans (he has a huge marketing budget at his disposal and its extremely good publicity for the club) that he should be forgiven for behaving like a complete moron in public on a regular basis. If yesterday was the first time he had let club down then fair enough anyone can make a mistake. Cook has been making mistakes since day one and very public ones at that. He is paid alot of money and is in one of the most important jobs in the clubs hierarchy. Quite simply he's championship and we're aiming for the champions league. The bare minimum I would expect of the CEO is not to embarrass the club every time he opens his mouth, Cook can't even manage that. Cook isn't your mate in an office that everyone knows is a bit rubbish but he's a nice guy so noboday says anything, he's a bloody important part of our club and we deserve better.

BC, I totally agree.

I knew he'd make an arse of the conference and he did. Those who can see beyond him having a beer with the fans can see that.

He won't last, he's the last remnants of the Old Guard. There's a candidate around with the prefect CV too, and he's rumoured to be a blue.

Haven't read every post here, so apologies if already covered.

Yesterdays talk about "trajectory" of points not being on target after the Hull game was technically correct, but the latter half of the statement is probably worth more consideration - not fundamentally likely to change etc.

IMO Garry Cook is proving to be something of a liability right now. Yes, he's a great bloke for dishing out freebies and all that, and being personable, but I believe he's out of his depth in the football world and its showing in his handling of the press conference.

Just about every journo was after him to come clean yesterday, and he fudged it big time.

I would like to see him replaced with someone who knows the football world inside-out (NOT Kenyon) rather than have him blather on about 'trajectories' 'agreed targets' 'business and contingency plans' etc.

He's still Thaksin's appointment after all, and he may be feeling the heat after that dismal showing yesterday.

Not confident in his ability to handle big-time football pressure.

It reminds me a little of when Reid left, the story goes that Reid was told to replace Sam Ellis and he refused and was a result he was fired. I happen to disagree with your rosy view, but it might have gone down like that. As for the board check yourself, by the Sunderland game just over 1/2 either wanted him gone or were on the fence.

No mate... he is absolutely, 100% a blue. And he has a lot of influence at the FA & UEFA, he also would never tell city fans that we are no longer a 'Manchester Club', nor would he announce Uwe Rosler as a 'manchester United' legend... Could might be a nice guy, so was Mark Hughes... Nice guys are good losers........ I'm ready for a good winner for a change...

Apologies if I'm being a bit thick here but who are you referring to.

Former Chelsea CEO... Peter Kenyon
