Garth Crooks' Team of the Week

Gabriel Jesus (Arsenal)

The Brazilian looked electric for much of the game against Palace. I often got the feeling the former Manchester City forward wasn't given the respect his talents deserved under Pep Guardiola.

However, under Mikel Arteta, it looks like the striker may have found a manager who not only believes in his abilities but also provides him with a golden opportunity to represent his country in the World Cup in November. I don't think he would have got that under Guardiola.

So nothing about his performance, just banging this drum about him not playing as a striker for us.

Didn't score, so there's that.

Not having Rodri in the team shows that he is clueless and does not watch games. Puts defenders in if they score a goal, not if they defend well.
The fact that the BBC employs him and others like him shows why the license fee should be scrapped and them having to actually spend money wisely

Absolute wanker…

‘Raheem Sterling (Chelsea): I thought Sterling was starting to lose the fizz he had gained having escaped Pep Guardiola's straitjacket.’

If you thought any of our players write ups by him were bad, that Odegaard one is the worst I’ve read.
