Crooks doesn’t pick any of those team of the week or season it’s done for him and then his name is put to it …
They come up with what they think is a witty, pithy hypothesis, but before they scribble it down they don't bother to test it to see if it holds water. And the water that dribbles out of their model is ignored because it isn't understood.Have you read the shite he wrote about his "point of the week" or whatever it's called, underneath the main article?
He and Ian Wright say that we won't win in Europe "until we have suffered".
He then goes on to say Liverpool suffered v Real when Salah was kicked off the park and went on to win it the following year and that we haven't suffered yet.....
No mention of de Bruyne being taken off in last seasons final with a facial injury courtesy of Rudiger.
Very odd comment indeed
I think he will go for Paddy Crerand.Has to be Telles. Then again, it could be Varane. Or perhaps Lindelof. What about McTominay?
It is team of the season.Why has he picked Dias? He should be pensioned off ASAP.
Probably some iffy tax thing.Looks like Garth may have been up to naughties;

EXCLUSIVE: In a bizarre move many saw as an act of desperation, former players including Garth Crooks and Brendon Batson launched legal action against the regulator.www.dailymail.co.uk
No, the report in the Mail states the Charity were paying people, one of which is the bent bastard Gordon Taylor who worked for the charity. This is against the rules. It intimates the wages were grossly inflated.Probably some iffy tax thing.
Most important bit is right at the end....stood down in May from the BBC. I must have missed that.
