Garth you twonk!

It was obvious Rooney would be in it after that goal, but no Komnpany?!!!! He had Rooney in his pocket all game, all except at that moment, which he wouldn't have been able to do anything about anyway. Smalling played well, yes, but Kompany was immense. Daft **** Crooks.

It's not very often that I pick a defender whose team have let in two goals, as Manchester City did against United in the 2-1 defeat by their arch rivals.
However, I'm prepared to make an exception for Richards. Apart from the two perfectly timed bone-shaking tackles on Patrice Evra, he is beginning to look like the prodigious talent I saw three seasons ago. The big question is: can he maintain the standard? Good to have you back, Micah.

Did you know? Won 90% of his challenges on Saturday, only Chris Smalling won a higher proportion.

But nice to see that Micah is again being recognised as the defender he was 3-4 years ago !!

He asks in the piece 'How could you leave him out after 'that' goal?'

Simple Garthy boy, base your opinion on his entire 90 minute performance as any professional commentator would?

Crooks addresses his mind-set in the write up for Micah:

"It's not very often that I pick a defender whose team have let in two goals"
Obviously if you let in two goals you played twice as badly if you had let 1 in hey Garth?
On that basis, O'Shea was twice the player that Kompany was on Saturday!

I took one look at his 'team of the week' and left the site, didn.t bother reading. Unbelievable. Not the first time I've disagreed strongly with his choices, but first time I've found them laughable.

He's the typical Match of the Day type fan. Sees a goal or good pass and that gets someone into his team of the week. The kind of person who reckoned Pedersen at Blackburn was one of the best in the league because he hit a few nice shots. Probably thinks De Jong is shite because he never scores.

A mate of mine pointed out his bias towards black players. I'm not sure if that's entirely true but there are times you have to wonder with certain selections.

Absolute joke!

He should do some proper research, Kompany keeps him out all of the game bar one effort on goal, absolutely tormented Rooney so badly he went out of position and wide, away from Kompany 'cause he had enough of gettin f-all from him! What a spanner, BBC should get someone who's dedicated enough to watch more than 2 minutes of highlights and go by what people must be telling him. Tit!

I'll also take this oppertunity to rant about Rooney. For what he claims is his "best ever goal" he didn't deserve it. He's been shocking for around the last 11 months, was terrible all game, for a 'world class striker' he got marked out of the game by a player who isn't even considered to be in a team of the week not to mention the way he treated his club saying he wouldn't sign new contract only to u-turn when his bank balance shot up. At least when Tevez changed his mind he's put in the hardest working displays seen in the Prem and has returned even more goals to us. Lap it up you fat funk, your best is behind you as far as I'm concerned.

I don't think anyone should have got in from our or uniteds side especially Rooney who looked absolutely clueless for 89 mins of the game. It was a shit game when I look back. How Cahill from Bolton and Grandin from Blackpool didn't get in I'll never know.
