Totally agree with this.Oh and not everything regarding City and football in general has changed for the better by any stretch of the imagination.

Shrewsbury did us twice. First time was....??.....1965?Don't mention Shrewsbury! !! Nightmare memory from 1979....
We were in the same hotel bar though outside top weekend, think he was in a strong St. Helens youth team with Ray ransom . Was fortunate to play golf with him once in a society day asked him about the transfer just said mal didn’t fancy him , great gutsy player & a top blue who should never of been sold but we all know that .Was sat next to him at a bar, on Brighton seafront, about three hours before kick-off, final game of last season. I was already hammered by that point!
What a fucking brilliant day. What a location to celebrate a title, especially with that glorious weather. One of my best days as a City fan. Pure magic.
Dunno about 1 & 3, but you are ok with 2I’m younger, funnier and better looking than him.
Absolutely this.Scandalous, what Allison did at that time. Damned near ruined the club. We've only really recovered since HRH came in. Can't forgive Allison for that.
Anyone remembrr Big Mal justifying selling Gary on some interview? Basically saying he didn’t fancy him as a player, which I thought was fair enough. It’s not like he went on to be a world beater. He was a good pro, who can rightly be proud of his career, but he was not top draw.
Correct. Remember beating coventry 2-0 at home maybe 78 and he scored both goals, penalties in the second half in the North Stand.Think Gary was our penalty taker back in the day..Always a sure footed tidy midfield player..Give and go,push kick style...
We enjoy our watching our team playing wonderful football, scoring more goals the league has ever seen. They're bitter. Bitterer than anyone ever. Lol

The biggest mistake Mal made was coming back in the first placeIt was a crime against City and football when Big Mal sold Gary and Peter.
Two of the worst decisions Malcolm ever made.
Your looking at a long list there lolWho are?
Nice one. Just looked that game up Ray Gobles (RIP)book......1978/79 Oct 14th 1978 2nil win. Owen managed 11 goals from midfield that season ,a good return for a centre mid...Always liked his style of play.a grafter. Give and go...a bit imo like Neil Mcnab for us in the late 80s...played a simple game.ball on the deck, pass and move.....Mcnab was then of course at the end of his career...having started as a Winger aged 15 at Morton.Scotland.Correct. Remember beating coventry 2-0 at home maybe 78 and he scored both goals, penalties in the second half in the North Stand.
I have never been as sad as when he was sold. Malcolm cost us 30 years.
