Funny you should mention utility bills because Npower are going to get the wrath of my tongue in the morning, i am on duel gas and electric and they have put my bill up to 150 a month for the two!! I am the type who likes to be warm but way over the top. I have done a search and npower for what i use reckon to a new customer they could do both for 80 pound a month, so something is wrong somewhere!!!

I pay £25 a month for gas, over the last 6 months i've paid a total or £150 and as of today i'm still £71.86 in credit so can't really complain. Got both my gas and electric with British Gas and i'm also in credit by £50 on the electric and i only pay £20 a month for that

It's certainly a bit weird why it's so cheap, been with British Gas since i moved in in June and got a fixed rate deal which runs till 2010 (Might explain why it's cheaper than most others). House is only 12 years old and the boiler is only a few years old so maybe more effecient, thats all i can think of anyway but i'm not complaining!

There is always that of course, to be honest i don't put the heating on that much as i tend to put the fire on most of the time which is electric. I'd be fucked if my bill cost the same as yours just has
