I couldn’t swap until now as I was tied in, my gas wasn’t up until November but I can change now and think the next rise in September will be big as that’s when everything will really kick in from this dumb war.Better late than never
Mine was a straight swap, new ones were slightly smaller, leave any remodelling to the fitters I’d say, they do a dozen a day should be a piece of cake for them so long as they’re accessible no matter how tightHas anyone had a smart meter installed in a tricky area?
My meters are in a corner low down surrounded by wood paneling. I don't know whether to remove all this wood as it looks like it won't be easy to remove the old meters.
Is it easy to remove? I’d wait until they arrive if they can’t do it until it’s removed then just rip it out, otherwise leave it, they may ask you to take pictures before to send to them to give them an idea anyway.Has anyone had a smart meter installed in a tricky area?
