Gate for Hull

Same sort of situation for me, although not so far to drive. But I'm far more excited about this game than next week's dead rubber against Borussia. Win this and we are one step away from another Wembley final. It is almost six years to the day since the quarter final against Arsenal and going on to our first semi in 28 years. What a great night that was - full house, lights dimmed before kick off and Blue Moon shining on the stands. We lost the semi of course, but there was a sense of expectation at the time that we were on the cusp of something big.

Everyone will have their reasons for not attending, but I love the domestic cups and will definitely be there.

Prefer CL myself like watch different European teams the Germans look a decent outfit so should be decent if we turn up

Gave up the cup schemes this year.

Crap public transport and the infrastructure finally did it for me, before you take kick-off times and shit weather into account.

Also not getting any younger going into my seventh decade shortly.

I wasn't suggesting absolutely everybody should be there. The 40k estimate more than allows for people who genuinely can't make it due to money, work, other commitments etc. It's the people who are not bothering because it's only Hull or because the weather is a bit crap that i don't agree with. And lets be honest here, if the gate is as low as people are predicting then a lot of that is going to be down to people who simply can't be arsed. If it had been a top 4 team we'd of sold out.
i genuinely can't make it cos i can't be arsed.....

I'm not going, I have tickets and gave them to a friend that cannot usually afford to go.
If I went, it would mean a half day off work(unpaid), a 500 mile round trip (£70 fuel), getting home at 3am (if lucky) and up 3 hours later for work.

I hope I am excused, Sir.

P.S. I wouldn't be coming if it was yoonited, Arsenal, Chelsea or fucking Barcelona.

Wind your neck in.

One has to ask why you bought tickets then.

I'm on the cup scheme but won't be going. Won't have a car to get there tomorrow and I can't be arsed with the walk to and from Victoria and the train home.

So they can draw a red circle around my seat.

It
I missed 30 mins of the last round coz of traffic. I live in stoke atm. Are the roadworks still on Manchester way does anyone know? I'll go Macclesfield way if so. Cheers
it can take an hour and a half from Macc for night games traffic is shite!!

I use the Macc Travelodge a lot for night games, 20 min for fast train and 30 min on the stopping train, 25 min walk to the ground, agree using a car is shite from Macc.

It does make a mockery of those who claim thousands upon thousands are sitting in the pubs around manchester desperate to go but priced out by the club. Great opportunity for anyone at cheap as chips prices.

I know robbing bleeders aren't they? Besides a world class stadium, players, a cup quarter final, reduced ticket prices the club seem to be offering very little for this one

Would of thought that for a fiver the least the club should do was let them be a mascot. Plus the kid could be on the subs bench.

Great suggestions. But why does it have to be a kid on the bench? I think they should rotate with OAPs & give the long-time blues some recognition too.

One to mention next time City Voice come calling on the email

Due to the transport being even more shit on night games i think they should put me up in the Hilton, with a free bottle of bubbly,a meal and a nice young lady to keep me company, all paid for. The last night game i attended i did get a free lift....to MRI and Salford royal courtesy of the nice slippery blue carpet they laid on for me leaving the south stand lol!
