Gate for Hull

Piss poor if we don't get near to 40k. Quarter final of a cup and tickets are less than £20. Yes there will be some that can't afford this on top of a season ticket etc but generally speaking there's no excuses other than can't be arsed because it's not United/Arsenal/Chelsea.

How about having to finish work early no flexi left, drive 142 miles probably in piss poor weather, decent ticket price fair enough. Then 140 mile drive home. Near Xmas, CL game week after. Near Xmas. Sometimes things aren't just practical

I missed 30 mins of the last round coz of traffic. I live in stoke atm. Are the roadworks still on Manchester way does anyone know? I'll go Macclesfield way if so. Cheers
a34 is a good shout but manchester is gridlocked everywhere after 4,pot luck mate plus the mancunion way is still down to one lane

Park up at Macc or Stockport and use the train, this seems to be the best way if the Manchester traffic is as bad as its made out to be.

I'm not going, I have tickets and gave them to a friend that cannot usually afford to go.
If I went, it would mean a half day off work(unpaid), a 500 mile round trip (£70 fuel), getting home at 3am (if lucky) and up 3 hours later for work.

I hope I am excused, Sir.

P.S. I wouldn't be coming if it was yoonited, Arsenal, Chelsea or fucking Barcelona.

Wind your neck in.

Same sort of situation for me, although not so far to drive. But I'm far more excited about this game than next week's dead rubber against Borussia. Win this and we are one step away from another Wembley final. It is almost six years to the day since the quarter final against Arsenal and going on to our first semi in 28 years. What a great night that was - full house, lights dimmed before kick off and Blue Moon shining on the stands. We lost the semi of course, but there was a sense of expectation at the time that we were on the cusp of something big.

Everyone will have their reasons for not attending, but I love the domestic cups and will definitely be there.

I wasn't suggesting absolutely everybody should be there. The 40k estimate more than allows for people who genuinely can't make it due to money, work, other commitments etc. It's the people who are not bothering because it's only Hull or because the weather is a bit crap that i don't agree with. And lets be honest here, if the gate is as low as people are predicting then a lot of that is going to be down to people who simply can't be arsed. If it had been a top 4 team we'd of sold out.

Really don't get why the club don't do £5 adults and £1 kids for these games.
