Gaudino's Stolen Car - Sam White

Re: Gaudino's Stolen Car

Numb at the moment. Loved you mate even though you called me names. Rude ones mostly.

Part of a pm I sent him a while ago sort of sums him up for me..

"three other people in my office wonder why i am giggling like a little girl.

Cheers fella."

He always had the ability to make me cry. The bastard is doing it again.

R.I.P mate.

Re: Gaudino's Stolen Car

Was he suffering from a terminal illness or was his death sudden?

It was strange because he had a personality where he used to have a laugh about rape and his cellar and all that, but behind it, when he was giving his opinion about real-life incidents and tragedies, you could tell he was emotionally moved by a lot of the stuff and maybe if he had a long-term illness, that's why he had a much more serious appreciation of mortality when he decided to be serious.

Whatever happened to him, he come across as someone with decent values and he had a sharp tongue, good sense of humour and the forum will be a worse place without him.

Rest in Peace blue.

Re: Gaudino's Stolen Car

I honestly thought this was a wind up til I saw Ric had posted. I'm in total floods.

Only met Sam once (for several hours on the get together the other week) but spoke to him often both on forums and PMs. He was a lovely guy and he will be very sadly missed.

RIP Sam, you did not deserve to go. My thoughts and love are with his wife and family. xx

Our Off-Topic Family

It's a shame it takes a tragedy for everyone to forgive and forget but that happens in real life unfortunately.

I was thinking it might be good to bring back some banned members who either knew GSC personally, or knew of him well on here.

If there's ever a time to forgive & forget and give people another chance, this is one of them.

And I don't just mean Glen. Any of them, Mcfcliam, Didactic, even BT. I'd imagine they are all shcoked and touched in some way at what's happened.

great idea, when something like this happens you soon realise barneys on an internet forum are pretty trivial

Re: Gaudino's Stolen Car

Sorry to have just dropped the OP like a bomb lads. To say I'm absolutely gutted would be an understatement!

He was such a top top lad!

I bet he will be pissing his sides up there now reading all posts about him!

One of my funniest moments ever with him was about 5 years ago in Tenerife, I got stuck in a lift for about an hour with him, one of our other mate and a big fat German who was having a panic attack. I can honestly say that I have never laughed as much as I did in that lift!

Re: Gaudino's Stolen Car

RIP GSC/Sam

Re: Our Off-Topic Family

I agree with Skashion. 99% of posters won't know me at all, but this place does mean a lot to me. It bridges the gap between Here and Manc.
