Gaudino's Stolen Car - Sam White

Re: Gaudino's Stolen Car

What a fucked up and wonderful world we live in that the sight of a cat and a tub of popcorn has just reduced me to staring into space for five minutes and holding back tears.

I'm going to miss you Sam. You were without doubt the funniest, most decent and brilliant person I've never met.

Re: Gaudino's Stolen Car

Just got back from the funeral as sadly I couldn't have a drink!
Thought it was a lovely ceremony and his mum is such a brave lady.
Excellent turnout just showed how well thought of Sam was.
Bluemoon was very well represented and it was great to meet new faces.

RIP Sam

I will toast you and Sue properly on the 4th August.

Can only Echo what was said here .

Sue was very Brave , I hardly knew Sam but there was no way I could have stood up and thanked everyone for coming .

It is True what Paul said at the service .

"We are here for such a short time so go on and make the best of what you have got and enjoy yourselves "

I am certain that is what Sam would say too .

Re: Gaudino's Stolen Car

The place was packed out - there were even some rags who'd worn City sirts such was thier love for Sam.

It was funny how talking about 'Sam' didn't really hit home, when he said Gaudinos Stolen Car the penny suddenly dropped and I realised our GSC had gone.

Aplogies to the other BMers who were there and I didn't speak to - wasn't in the mood.

Time for a SDP in tribute to GSC I think :-)

RIP GSC

Re: Gaudino's Stolen Car

It was a very dignified and honest service.

I met Sue (Sam's mother) who i found very very affable and welcoming even at this difficult time.
Sue took the time to come over and chat to us bluemooners and seemed to take great comfort from how genuine the affection is for Sam even though most never met him.
What a great woman.

Sue is also coming to the bm meet and i can tell right of i will enjoy her company as will others.

My thanks to Sue and the rest of the family for inviting us and Rebecca and his aunt for taking the time to involve us bm'ers.

It was a pleasure meeting you all :)

Now me and the lads are gonna make a severe dent in the waldorfs beer supply.

Re: Gaudino's Stolen Car

Sadly I couldn't attend because of work

I will be there too both of these blues deserve a good send off, I didn't know GSC but I did know Sue and still can't get over what's happened.

Looking forward to meeting some more bluemooners on that day, I'm sure there will be alot of happy memories to share.
