I always thought it would be odd that the rags would be after him without any other club putting their foot in it... the whole thing doesn't make sense.
Either we are both in for him or both clubs are not interested. It's never the case that one club goes for a world class player.
I could never imagine him joining the rags, they don't like paying big wages to players... when in reality to get those type of players they have to start coughing up.

This is my first season using forums and following twitter etc for footy and i thought when you all slated ssn for being bias, i thought it was something all teams did for a bit of a moan.
This though makes me see your not kidding, my old man just called me and said its a bit sad of them as if this was his team (rags) they would be singing from the rooftops about it. I agree that its poor of them, not even a "more on this as it happens".

At this point Inter nor City have anything to gain from announcing it. The most important thing will be Sneijder's appearance in todays match. If he gets 60 minutes then maybe I and others were wrong. But if he gets a half or a runout its over for him at Inter. Most reporters were saying that the clubs were prepared to deny anyway.

why on earth would city be worried about one story from a foreign newspaper ?? Its not like its running 24/7 in all the press and tv...the first thing thats even mentioned over here is that City deny it. !!
