2. Listen to the Italians, they have many ins at Inter.
3. Denial in this case means the square root of fuck all.

There's not much being said on there, mate. They're more concentrating live on the Rags open training session and the jocks that have come down so the 'wee bairns' can have a chance to see the players live and a young girl saying how good their 6-o victory last night was.

Nope, Gazzetta and SportMediaSet would not both have gotten this wrong. This is like the Times and the Guardian both running an exclusive and people saying that they got it wrong.

They aren't the Sun, these guys wouldn't print this on the front page unless they were absolutely sure.

The Italian journos are quietly confident on this on Twitter, and are saying that there will probably be an agreement to unveil the deal after both Super Cups.

To be fair, the Guardian are also saying the story is totally without foundation according to their sources.

But the Inter CEO has also denied it. he's an Italian (I think) but you choose to ignore that?

A lot of City fans wanting to believe (myself included), but everything that's in the public domain suggests that Sneijder has not signed for City, and the original story was wrong.

It maybe that City have made enquiries, but I would expect that. We did that for Kaka, and Ronaldinho. United spent a Summer chasing Ronaldinho before he went to Barcelona.
