It seems to be working for the players so far in this tournament. There haven’t been any reports of social media abuse towards them yet.People and companies have a moral right to do this anyway, why do they need to be told or signalled? Clearly if anti-racism requires this sort of constant messaging then we must all really be completely bankrupt and lost. It's almost like we are all sinners and taking the knee is our weekly form of confession which absolves us all of our sins, if you don't then you must be a closet racist.
Again I come back to Rashford (one red I really respect) but he has done far more for the anti-racist movement than any of this imported BLM stuff has. He is indeed politically involved but he has a right to be because unlike most he is actually doing something towards pushing the movement and many other issues forwards beyond politics.
This may of course be related to them not having lost yet.
