Putting aside the fact it'll be like a British fox news, that release suggests they are truly breaking new ground with the way they are doing things.
 
Beating up a WPC and ending her career now this - Neill will be drafting his contract as I type. Cancel culture - of course it will all be about Middleton being cancelled and not about the WPC having her career cancelled

She is possibly the least intelligent person I have ever had the displeasure of listening to. She comes across as a pernicious individual too.

Today he was defending the Brexity appointments and lauding those post-referendum "northern" audiences who insisted they knew what they had voted for. (The interviewer didn't ask whether they knew it was going to be the shitshow it is.) He actually thinks Brexit is over. So no Brexit-related news on his channel...)

They will succeed imo. In fact, when you read the blind panic on here led by those who's forecasts, wishes and dreams over the past decade have all crumbled to dust, you can bet your life on it;)

Oh I’m sure they will succeed. Just like Brexit succeeded. Both will help make the UK a worse place.

It would be nice if these presenters could rise above their political leanings to produce "Fair, impartial and balanced Television"
 
I don’t particularly mind Andrew Neil, as a political interviewer I think he’s up there with the best. That article he wrote in the Express doesn’t fill me with hope about the new channel though.

I want a news channel that has as diverse an opinion as possible presented (and to very clearly differentiate when it is reporting editorial opinion vs reporting the news). I don’t think this is going to do that by the way he’s talked about it so far.

It's a local election so I only raise it if people say either (a) they switched to LibDem from Labour because they wanted to Remain (we had warned it would be a wasted vote; the Remainers who deserted Labour let in a Tory MP) or (b) they say they voted Tory, but wouldn't now (and that may be people who now realise Brexit is crap). Those who don't realise it are unlikely to vote Labour anyway. No-one's amused though. It's only on here that people find Brexit funny, even the lost livelihoods.
