Neil Olivers rant about Covid, vaccines and children was amazing. Full of lies and mis information it was simply an opinion piece introduced as news. Of course it has the gammon frothing at the mouth in support on twitter. I googled him - he has an MA in archaeology. Thats all. May as well get your info off the paper boy or the bin man - they will have the same lack of qualifications in medicine and will also hold an opinion they can give voice to.

GB News hasn't been pretending to be news. Andrew Neil gave an interview to the spectator before the launch explicitly stating that they weren't news but an opinion based outfit.
It’s simply a rolling channel that consists of the Wright stuff/Jeremy Vine /loosewomen/dateline London/The Pledge (Sky), talkradio etc but broken up by advertising instead of news and quality programmes.
But coming from a narrow editorial view point, targeting a narrower group of the population, and without the same standards towards balance or fact checking.
why?
