Ha, you think your average Scot will want to stick with us and the fucking shower of shit we've just put in power for the next 5 years?
The average Scot isn't a nationalistic numpty who realises the problems and dangers being independent from a union they've shared, help grown and establish over the past 300 years, to suddenly turn their backs on in favour of being independent... at least until they re-apply to join the EU.

You guys do what you want though. I'm past caring if Scotland wants to commit economic and international suicide.

Nope, there is no viable alternative government for either Holyrood nor Westminster. SNP will continue to dominate Scottish politics for the forseeable , Brexit or not, Independence or not.
Almost every Scottish Westminster seat is a marginal, the cold wind of Brexit will soon blow public support for independence away. There is no rational economic case for a future outside the UK despite the sentimental appeal of nationalism. The current result is purely anti Brexit not pro Independence.

I don't know think if we had a vote today it would narrowly be to stay. If we get a hard Brexit, which mays be less likely now, then we would vote for independence but it's still fairly even at the moment.

Let's be fair here mate.

A Labour landslide would have had your Palastine flag used like your curtains where when you was a teenager ;-)

I'd have been a model of restraint....

Do the Scottish people want independence or is it just a Queen Nicola thing?

In my opinion a united Ireland would make far more sense.

Unless Johnson can turn one-nation conservatism into something that includes the entire United Kingdom, and not simply England, then the other constituent parts will continue to pull away. Holding the Union together is going to be his hardest task.

Yep. And a Tory England will help the cause. Question is does Sturgeon parly this into full independence or more devolved powers and greater autonomy and independence on a bit by bit approach.

That’s about the eighth post I’ve read from you talking about Brexit. Did you know a single other policy that any party had in their manifesto other than their Brexit stances? Just interested to know because I don’t think Brexit makes the top dozen things I voted with in mind for this GE. But you seem to think it’s the biggest talking point.

It’s one of, if not main issue in this country - it’s not a surprise I and many others have posted about it. And no of course I didn’t know any other policy - I’m a thick leave voter.. of course I read other policies - very presuming and judgemental of you to presume I haven’t

Don’t agree with the last point, do you honestly think brexit was nothing to do with it in all the seats in the north and the midlands ?
