Maybe they were the same unicorns that advised the leave campaignNot very well. They have unicorns managing their books it seems.

Conservatives are looking most likely to win the most seats, but also looking likely that we could be on our way to a hung parliamentAs I know fuck all about politics, who’s looking likely to win??, ahead in polls etc etc, genuine question
Ones which most leave advocates paid no attention to, yet many remain advocates keep referencing.Maybe they were the same unicorns that advised the leave campaign
Most on here have no clue either.

Thats up to the yellow tory and she will love playing kingmaker. Rather go to bed with Johnson than form a progressive alliance.Tories will win the most seats. The only debate is whether they can get a majority and form a government. If not it will allow the remain parties to form an alliance if they can get their fingers out and work together.
Albatross?A Fleetwood Mac song comes to mind
The Council has been trying to build social housing (after years of the Tories stopping Councils from direct provision) because private developers are reluctant to take the risk.I couldn’t believe the cost of some of the rent for the shitholes they lived in.
I’ve paid less and lived in much nicer, in my late teens/early 20’s.
We reckon our last Tory MP spent well over £100k of his own money (he could afford it) in publicity (prior to the actual campaign). If he'd bought every elector a pint, that would be illegal "treating" but he could spend the same on publicity.I was talking generally and about ALL candidates for all parties.
Between £30-£40k they estimate on a campaign.
If you're talking about Swinson, she would be dead in a ditch if she kept Johnson in power to "get Brexit done". Lib Dems in Labour-held marginals will vote Labour. I've had a former LibDem councillor tell me he'll vote Labour once it's obvious their candidate can't win.Thats up to the yellow tory and she will love playing kingmaker. I'd hope so.If you're talking about Swinson, she would be dead in a ditch if she kept Johnson in power to "get Brexit done". Lib Dems in Labour-held marginals will vote Labour. I've had a former LibDem councillor tell me he'll vote Labour once it's obvious their candidate can't win.

the EU is bigger than us and very protectionist towards its markets . That’s also just the way it works, we are fucked.
The point I was trying to make is that Labour gave gone one trick pony
As you point out - good if it is working....
... The point is that it is not
Is it true the Tories are not going to release their manifesto until two weeks before Dec 12th? If so it just proves that they’ve learnt nothing from the last campaign and they’re still so arrogant that they believe they can fool the public. They’re in big, big trouble.
Interesting to hear this morning that the Tories are going for " immigration " ( ms Patel no less , the irony is staggering !! ) now as their plan of attack , a tactic they have used for the past 70 years or so . The BBC whilst reporting it a few minutes ago added to the report "however the conservatives have failed to deliver their promised level of immigration reduction at the past 3 elections" ?! It looks like the tory parties buddy's are all deserting them .
Ok, ta for responding, is the seat you're canvassing a Labour seat?Thank you for your question, sir.
Oh yes. I don't know how his Momentum fans deal with it, but then it's by and large the old guard who do the hard slog campaigning not the newbies. But the main complaint is that "he isn't a leader", not particularly any baggage or policy, so if (like last time) he does leadership things (like visiting disaster areas) and does them well, and Johnson is exposed for the blustering buffoon he is, the damage may be limited. No-one calls Corbyn a Marxist. That's a bluemoon (Mail/Express) thing. But yes, Starmer would be storming it.
Anyway today's highlight was a housing association tenant who called me in to discuss a problem (temporarily rehoused into a marginal), so I've got him to register to vote here, and after a good discussion about EU companies' investment in the UK and this area, he'll vote Remain in the next referendum (Leave before).
