Not true, it is operated independently from the US.
We will never use it independently or without the consent of the US.

It's not actually ours though is it ? We can't use it without the yanks permission ?
Vic this cancelling of Trident is the kind of insanity that keep Corbyn well and truly out of number 10. To even consider giving up our nuclear weapons in todays world is absolute lunacy.

From the US ?? Don't Britain pay for it ?? Surely it should be Britains decision to use it or not ?

It's a bit like borrowing next doors electric drill and paying him 300 quid a week for the privilege ? Several billion quid a year it costs and it's not really Britains to use ?We will never use it independently or without the consent of the US.
There is no where in the Labour manifesto that says we are going to cancel Trident ..... the commitment is for a 'like for like replacement for Trident' .... i assume without the reliance on USA control
The fact the Brexit hard-liners are supporting Boris' deal is definitely helpful IMO. It means that only those Leavers not listening to any reasoned argument will vote for Farage. He's increasingly marginalised as a bit of a crank who just objects to everything. And whilst there's quite a few unthinking Farage supporters, it's a lesser number than had the Tory right wing been throwing rocks at Boris as well.I don't think voters at the extreme leave side of Brexit will take much notice of those 3 over Farage, it will be Boris or Farage those people decide between.
