A strange reply for someone advocating reading articles rather than headlines.
But then why read something that might contradict your view of the world.
‘She’ is an award winning journalist and investigative reporter who broke the Cambridge Analytica story.
You've just argued "well look at the headlines 'Carol' puts out"

Who the hell is 'Carol' and why should I care about what headlines she uses, and why post an article not pertinent to the debate? So are you defending 'Carol', using her an example? What are you doing here?

I never gave two shits about the Cambridge Analytica stuff. It didn't affect me one jot.

So maybe I confused you with a poster who was advocating reading articles rather than headlines. I post an article for you to read and you become defensive and aggressive. That you care nothing about the manipulation of democracy is of course absolutely your choice.

I never said all left wingers were great did I ? I am just keen to ask on balance when you consider all the tyranny in the world over the past century or so how many " right wing governments " were involved opposed to " left wing " a? you said earlier ....look at both sides and decide which is worse ?
Try communism mate, if that's left enough for you, that philosophy slaughtered far more than any far right one did.
Both were evil, one killed more than the other.

100,000,000 people isn't "a lot", stop exaggerating.

I’m sure there are many reasons why things don’t pan out however if you pledge something then don’t pass the legislation or release the necessary funds to make it happen then don’t expect an article praising your efforts.

Sometimes a simple ‘yes it’s a fuck up’ will kill the debate before it starts.

This is just it though and to be honest it sums up why I hate party politics and why only a microscopic minority align themselves to any party.

As an example on housebuilding, Labour will increase taxes and costs on housebuilders and anyone with a brain will work out that can only mean that builders will build less houses. You can't force them to build and there is no nationalised housebuilder (yet of course!).

So Labour will bash the Tories on one point but then they will no doubt probably fail themselves and nobody wins.

Guy Fawkes had the right idea and I will toast to his memory tonight.....

just because it's a fact etc.... Thing is, the public seem to imagine that polls are for informing the public. How utterly naive, they are bought and paid for to achieve a bought and paid for result, When the media is so biased against the EU, they hope to convince enough floaters to back brexit by financing polls that follow their script. Worked for the ref. why not rinse and repeat "winning formula, will of the.....and all the rest of the lies that are the spine of brexit and it's thatcherist supporters ...
What a fascinating parallel universe some of you live in. The same universe bronco flits around in, where the Tories are increasingly unpopular and have no lead in the polls at all.

When will you EVER realise that the public are not interested in donkey-jacket 1970's policies of anti-capitalism, nationalisations, increased taxes and state interference. We've moved on as a society, greatly for the better and as anyone with eyes and a brain can recognise. The UK today, even after 10 years of brutal austerity, is STILL a far, far better place to live and work than it ever was 50 years ago. Until you move on, you are destined to remain a shouty irrelevant protest party. That's what Corbyn has made you.
