We get the government we deserve, if these exit polls are correct Johnson has free rein to do as he pleases, he certainly has the political capital to do whatever he wants.

We'll see how long his honeymoon lasts, either way the poorest are going to get hammered. You can forget those vague promises on spending, with this kind of majority he doesn't need to deliver, spending only goes help to those who either don't vote for him or don't vote at all.

Besides those promises were made when he thought he needed to sound caring and compassionate, well now he doesn't, so why should he give a fuck now he's on track for a stonking majority.
