Again, this makes no sense when many on the Conservative side, including Boris, voted against the deal brough back to parliament.

Tory messaging has won out that Labour blocked Brexit which isn't true. Just like years ago Torys said Labour caused the global economic crash won that election.
Makes total sense from the POV of Brexit supporters

Metal of Biker, I genuinely hope you're right that brexit we'll be ace, cos we're all going to find out soon.
Nope, won't be as good as it could have been.

You can thank Miller, Grieve, Benn et al for that.

But we still have to do it, on the way the remainers who tried to block it decided. Democracy you see.

In answer the your question... yes, I can.

However, many people.looked at Labours plans for the economy and thought that, long term, they were even more damaging to the country than Brexit.

On that I agree. No one wants a hard left, marxist economy.

I would like to think that the sane Labour MP's will take control now but the hard left will just dig in and go further to the left - they'll blame the result on centrists and blarites.

100% agree. They’ve completely ignored millions of their own voters and ignored their own traditional voters.

They’ve sided with the Islington. Middle class crowd, which was a terrible decision
We've been saying that for years, Labour isn't a working class party any more, it's become a metropolitan elite dominated
far left talking shop, these people, promoted by vacuous actors and the like, have screwed it for years.

Looks like a bad night for me, but I say keep this forum open and ongoing

But also everyone will need thick skins as when the expected gloating starts, they will have to accept I will be calling them smug **** ;-)
Fair play to you mate

There will be a need to try and curb expressing delight going too far - but I am sure that you would not mind those committed to Brexit having a night of celebration

I am sure that you would agree that if the vote had been the other way round there would have been a queue of people from the hard-left on here throwing pelters;-)
