We already do, it's called "National Insurance Contributions". NHS isn't 'free', we all pay for it.

Aren't you one of those saying you'd be happy to pay more?

No thats not what he said ..... privatised health care which means the exclusion of pre existing medical conditions / cap on benefits and large policy excesses.

and yes I would have been quite happy to pay a little more to fund the NHS properly

You've never heard of BUPA I take it?

We already have that, and it's optional. The Government is not going to get rid of N.I. contributions. The Tories have had the chance to do so for 10 years, but they haven't, and there are few if any Conservative MP's that back such a motion in the future. Not all Tory MP's are of the "Etonian" crowd.

You're getting worried over nothing because your social media bubble has propaganda'd you into the stratosphere.

I was wary of hope, when the polls gave a glimmer I posted them to rattle, but anyone with a sense of perspective and a bit of history under their belt, knew which way this was going.

The more challenged among us think respect for a democratic mandate means you have to agree with it's outcome, that's a nonsense, I do not agree, this country has made a fundamental error and the least able will pay for it, but we've been here before.

On a personal level I'm alright, I'll go back to my twin loves of City and frantic onanism.

It's still a fucking disaster though.
Look on the bright side mate

You can state your views and slide back to share the reducing membership echo chamber - comfortable in the knowledge that nobody is going to show intolerance to your views and tell you to fuck off

Delusional ..... your post will not age well .

Please stop messaging me in this thread. I said I'm leaving it to those that won on the far right.

You won, congratulations.

I look forward to Boris helping the homeless and those using food banks during the next 5 years.

funny , I remember mr labour Andy burnham becoming mayor of Manchester on the i will stop homelessness in Manchester. How’s that going because I don’t think it’s been worse ?

What stage of grief are the lefties at right now? Tho I don't think they will ever get to the final stage.
