I'm not even taking any notice of all this election shit, yet even I know that the Tories are making a right pigs of it.
 
Because there's a fucking huge level of debt and the defecit is coming down.
But if the economy was strong, real wages and productivity would be increasing, not decreasing. And if they were increasing, GDP would be growing at a reasonable rate, rendering the absolute level of debt less important, because it would be less of a percentage of GDP. The net annual deficit now is about the same as it was pre-crash yet gross debt is far higher. But in 2007, public services were well-funded. So where has the money we've borrowed since 2010 all gone?

Tories are making a pigs ear of this. As someone who was 100% voting for them a month ago I'm having 2nd thoughts.

Trouble is I don't trust any of the others in particular aspects.

What the fuck is May doing?
