The ribbons on the presented cup were red and black, so was that the first time ribbons were used that didn't represent a club's initial colours?

I remember Taggart had to sit in the stands for the Semi in '11. Not sure if it made any difference, but I'd really like to think it did.

I'm not sure I believe this. Where does the info come from?

Surely there were no 50 pence coins before 1971?
