Understood, and it's obviously something the club have been doing with CFG and our scouting network. One difference that has to be noted is that we have different expectations than Monaco and thus our recipe for success is starkly different. Not only is it harder for a player to break through at City, but we also are not going to be in the habit of selling the most profitable players.Its not about which player to be sold, its about scouting & getting the best talents before their value soar.
Monaco is a selling team playing in Ligue 1. City are winning trophies for fun and selling fringe players like Kelechi and Brahim from time to time.

We had Silva and Mendy before Monaco sold Mbappe, I remember it well, for a while it looked like we would get all 3! Bookies had us favourites for Mbappe that time
