Who cares anyway, he'll most likely end up like James Rodriguez, flashes of brilliance in a bit-part role, big wages and fitness/work rate issues. Expect him to be playing in a gulf state or back in Brazil within two years time.
 
Surprised Trippier was only £12m. Full England international, recent La Liga winner, only 31. Very good signing for the Geordies that. Smart to start improving their league 1 standard defence before trying to sign big stars.

Maybe they’ve finally found someone to run that club who actually knows what they’re doing.
