And now they are coming for Romeo Lavia lol
I’m sure we have a say in that?

No, we have a 20% sell on fee and can match any bid but don't see why we would do that and also the lad needs to want to accept our contract offer.I’m sure we have a say in that?

I think we have a straight buy back rather than match bid, we'd only have to meet that valuation over whatever fucked up number Chelsea throw downIf we did, it would be because he is a rare club trained player that could in the not too distant future actually play for the club.
Which is why the match any bid clause was included. If he stays a year or two at Southampton and he might be ready, not much to lose there. If he does look like going to Chelsea, the club have a decision to make whether effectively let him go or pay to take him back and try fit him in. Assuming as you say he'd consider it. If not, there's always the sell on money.
You may be right. The font that is Talksport reports that we have a straight £40m buy back so we don’t have to match the chavs if they offer over this sum. With a reported interest in Felix they really are in a mess.I think we have a straight buy back rather than match bid, we'd only have to meet that valuation over whatever fucked up number Chelsea throw down
I’m pretty confident given the mathematics of all our years of previous dealings that our undisclosed buyback will be considerably less than that. Usually double what we received plus 50%. So that would be nearer £30m than £40mYou may be right. The font that is Talksport reports that we have a straight £40m buy back so we don’t have to match the chavs if they offer over this sum. Just reinforces we’re doing well with the academy. If we’ve already banked the reported £10.5m and are now looking at the situation. Money, money, money or a guaranteed first team spotIf it is true he had a choice, why would he have chosen Chelsea over Arsenal at this point, on a loan.
