General transfer rumours

So chelsea splashing the cash yet again and no interest from uefa or the premier league over this, not actually worried what they spend but for the life of me can’t grasp how when its us we must have broke rules ( yes we know that certain clubs are pushing the investigation into us ) but why the blind eye being turned on another club who are a threat as well ..
The first of their three year monitoring period doesn't kick in until the season after next. IIRC, as new owners they can spend a billion per season, as long as the debt isn't levied against the Chavs, as the Glazer's did with ManUre.

From season 2025-2026 onwards is when they need to start balancing the books for FFP's 3 year monitoring period purposes.

They've got a lot of players to shift & a lot of squad restructuring to do. HOWEVER, the Saudi league paying premiums for the Chav's unwanted dregs, will massively kickstart that process from now.

It's galling to us City fans who've suffered & continue to do so because of FFP, but there's a clear logic & desperation behind the Saudi's reasons for doing so... OIL!

Oil is a finite resource. Whilst City fans love, revere & will be eternally grateful to Shiekh Mansour, we know he never bought us because he's a City fan. Abu Dhabi were the first to think ahead to what comes next for the UAE after the oil reserves run dry?

Abu Dhabi started the forward planning for what comes after the oil runs dry way before other Middle Eastern countries, hence why they want to become the financial & banking hub of the Middle East & the world, rivalling London, New York, Germany, Hong Kong & Singapore.

Sheikh Mansour looked at Arsenal first, then got into deep non-disclosure talks with Newcastle & Everton, before Garry Cooke stole in at the eleventh hour with his now famous Powerpoint presentation & sold Manchester City to him vision-wise & literally.

Qatar followed City's example 3 years later by buying PSG & lavishing hundreds of millions on their squad & acquiring the 2022 World Cup with help from ManUre in the form of Alex Ferguson & Beckham & now Qatar are favourites to buy Old Toilet!

It dawned rather late on Saudi Arabia why. If their oil doesn't run out beforehand, demand for it will plummet from 2030 & will turn to tap drips by 2050 because of stringent global climate crisis legislation.

The Saudi's power & wealth comes exclusively from oil & without it, their country's fucked & will return to being a desert within 100 years.

A mate of mine sent me a series of videos over the weekend showing HUGE government organised raves & concerts in Saudi! Their citizens attended in their thousands & hundreds of thousands, & their women who've been recently allowed to work & drive were allowed to attend & rave in Western clothing without wearing hijabs!

The conservative Islamic Clerics are up in arms, but Sheikh Bin Salman couldn't give a fuck! Unbelievably he's started to water down Saudi's strict Islamic laws, & has gone into supercharged mode to open his Kingdom up to foreigners!

Islamic fundamentalists HATE what he's doing, but after chopping up Adnan Khashoggi into dog food & publicly executing 81 men last year, few dare challenge him knowing how brutal & ruthless he is.

He's a young 37 year old leader & the younger population of Saudi love his vision for the future, hence why he couldn't give a fuck what the elderly Clerics think or say.

They're years behind Abu Dhabi & Qatar & realise they're on the clock to restructure their countries futures. The Saudis have looked at the playbook of their Middle Eastern neighbours & realised they need to move fast to create alternative revenue streams for the Kingdom, before global demand for oil plummets.

This is why they've made huge in-roads into F1, created LIV Golf, have poured billions into the Saudi Football League, bought Newcastle Utd, & have created a huge Shanghai style business investment zone where they want to entice foreign tech giants with offers of huge investment & funding, so they can rival Silicon Valley!

They've recently sent a Saudi female without a Hijab to the International Space Station, & are creating their own space exploration industry like The United Arab Emirates have with their recently successful Mars probe launch! Yup! City literally are out of this world & in fuckin outer space exploring other planets! \0/

The Saudi's literally don't have the time to be subtle about this & are desperate to make up ground on Abu Dhabi & Qatar, to secure their Kingdom's future.

What does this mean for UK football? They'll happily spend billions buying any half decent PL based footballers who can elevate the status of their league.

Only 2 days ago, they made it clear they want the 2030 World Cup at any cost & expect to get it, hence Ronaldo's £250m per season deal & the £500m per season deal they offered Messi!

The ONLY thing stopping them pumping billions into Newcastle's squad is FFP, but be in no doubt, they're posing a serious threat to European football regardless of Ceferin claiming two days ago only players at the end of their careers & looking for a final payday are interested in going there.

Neves is 26. Zaha is 29. Mahrez maybe 32 & Walker 34 next year, but both still have another 2 years at the highest level in them. This is a fuckin boon for Chelsea who need to offload their dregs for as much as they can get.

We've had to shed our excess weight organically over the last 10 years, selling many players for waaaaay less than their true market value, because other clubs knew we were desperate as a consequence of FFP.

Pep's pared down our squad accordingly, so we have little fat left to trim that won't need replacing. Those who have masses of excess blubber (Chavs) are looking at several mega paydays from the Saudi's to help dig them out of their financial holes in a way not available to us when we needed it!

In an interview on Monday, UEFA's Ceferin looked like Comical Ali when denying the US were invading, whilst in the background tanks were rolling across a bridge in Baghdad. The Saudi football onslaught's happening regardless of UEFA being prepared to admit it or not!

The question is, how can anyone say Chelsea's transfer dealings with Saudi is bent & not fair market value, when all they've done is set unrealistic values for their deadwood, & a desperate Saudi Arabia have said fine, because in their minds it's not about the journey, it's about their Kingdom's final destination?

Sorry for the long post, but I spent a few hours on Sunday looking into this after my mate told me about HUGE Saudi government organised EDM Raves taking place in Saudi Arabia featuring HUGE global Pop stars & DJ's, which I wouldn't have believed unless I saw it for myself.

Is anyone willing to bet there won't be an alternative Champions League or World Club Cup League in Saudi sometime soon, with £500m per participant, an additional £1bn for the losing finalist & £1.5bn for the winner?

Make no mistake, the Saudis have made it clear they're coming after European football including the Premier League & Champions League & they have the Trillions in cold hard cash to back it up! \0/

looks like whenever Chelsea will want to make a player moved out, a Saudi club will jump at the chance to agree some crazy salary and a proper fee for the player.

imagine us selling Cancelo, Phillips, Laporte for huge fees to UAE clubs all of a sudden for decent fees.

Boehly is doing some "immense" things since he arrived, spending way more in a short period than anyone before, and gets less than 1% of negative press for it than us did or even Newcastle did...
and people are adamant press is not racist.

they only start looking at Chelsea due to these Saudi links popping up now haha.

One of my relations works there doing MDL Beast. Your eyes would water on the amount on money they have to spend on events.

They have so many projects on the go. Qiddyia is a big one. They are playing catch-up but running at 100mph doing it.

It's fuckin frightening mate & regardless of what the world of football & finance are saying, they're shitting it!

I've two mates who're brothers who went to work in the oil industry in Kuwait for a few years to earn big money, before returning to the UK to settle down needing never to work again.

In the end, both married Kuwaiti women & have settled there permanently with their families. They told me it's nothing like I'd imagine & isn't as restrictive as it's painted, plus Kuwait's also rapidly changing.

As long as their freedoms aren't too restricted, people will migrate to where the money is. I've a mate who's a teacher in Qatar. His 5 year contract has now turned into a 15 year contract with no sign of him returning to the UK permanently.

My Nephew's also settled permanently in Dubai, after originally only going there on holiday with his mates! A surprise job offer was made & that was that... He returned to the UK, packed his luggage & was gone! \0/

The difference to how American owned clubs are viewed & treated, compared to Arab owned clubs is shocking!

Latent racism at its worst...

15k a month no tax….taxi…

Can someone please explain why in no reports/rumours from sources regarding Chelsea players going to KSA has no transfer fee? but in Kovacic to City has, Havertz to Arsenal has transfer fee! Fairly certain that there will be under undisclosed fee which is strange
