General transfer rumours

Would be as shocking as us not finishing top 4 this season. Very small gap between Assnal and City squads right now, if any.

Absolutely loony tunes that statement. Asides from Saka, which isn’t a given. Not one of their players would get in our best xi. Players like Martinelli, Timber, Gabriel & Ramsdale wouldn’t make our bench.

We moved on from Zinchenko and Jesus. Tierny, the Japanese lad wouldn’t make our EDS.

That’s not to mention their total lack of leadership, a barn pot of a manager who is currently far too emotional to be an elite manager.

Arsenal will have had a very good season of they make 4th.

I actually got sick of hearing how Xhaka and Partey were two of the main reasons why the Arse were so good early on in the season, and how disastrous it was when Partey was injured. Maybe that was just bullshit after all. So it boils down to the difference that Rice and Havertz make over those two. Well to be honest I think Havertz is shite and weakens them. My opinion, yours obviously differs but time will tell.
I think Rice and Timber are the 2 great signings. Havertz is just good backup

I don't think Arsenal have significantly upgraded their team. Ramsdale is decent (he is the better out of the current England keepers) but I don't think he is top quality and they don't have a natural finisher. They did need Rice more than we did and is an upgrade on the volatile Xhaka.

"a barn pot of a manager"

FFS he has done a excellent job there to be fair, but huge pressure on him this season with the money invested and expectation.

I've read some daft things on here, but sweet Christ... The squad that just won the treble and dominated football like no other team in history has a "very small gap, if any" with the serial bottlers who couldn't even beat Sporting Lisbon?

Last season was a one off for Arsenal. If anyone, it's Liverpool and Chelsea that'll run us close next season. Not a team that spent 60 million quid on waste of space Havertz.

Have you not seen how he behaves on the sideline? In interviews? How he reacts after a defeat or any type of adversity?

He’s got a long way to go.

The pep double act slips pretty quick when the pressure is on

Havertz has never persuaded me.

There's a video of him before Arsenal's pre season trying to score volleys in an empty net, he misses the target like 10 times in a row. Foden is doing the exact same drill at the end of the latest inside City and buries every single one. The guy is absolutely fucking crap and I can't believe teams have spent over 150 million on transfer fees signing him.

That's not a fair comparison Foden is an actual footballer, still no fucking idea what Havertz is.
