General transfer rumours

Jose Mourinho's targets at Man Utd: - John Stones - André Gomes - João Mário - Mauro Icardi - Álvaro Morata - Ezequiel Garay [Guardian]

Anyone bothered by any of those ?

Rumours are Stones will be as blue and he's the only one I'd like from that list.... apart from Stones, I dont see anyone I'd want to outbid the rags for....

So you'd prefer Stones/Laporte over one of the two and a CM/Winger? What's the logic here? I'm basing mine off of that it's a terrible idea to buy two CB's this window with so many needs. I don't get it all btw, no attack, seems to be media narrative with some support from our base?

Gomwz is pretty solid. I like Stones but most don't. But overall no individual prospect is frightening. It's more how they gel with the existing talent. Acquiring those guys will Increase their talent pool, just like ours will ours. It would come down to coaching, injury, drive, determination and some luck.

There will be lots of challers for the title next season.

Regarding the lots of challengers...From the friends I've talked with they aren't that threatened by Zlatan going to the rags. Terrifies me personally.
