General transfer rumours

I saw that shite too, even says in the article 'I didn't talk with Guardiola'.

If you didn't talk with Guardiola we weren't interested ffs. Ycnmiu.

I remember us being loosely linked with him on tv commentary & it was some time ago & he was fucking diabolical in the game played when it was mentioned. It frightened me to death in case it was true.

Watching him for the rags, he looks a potentially good defender but also a potential red card.

Bailly now saying we showed interest in him as well....even Yaya rang him to try and get him to sign with us?

Doesn't every player the geriatricos sign snub us? Come on lad get with the programme, it's written into their contracts in black and white that once you sign for the Europa league minnows you have to tell the press you snubbed ickle citeh. It's tradition mate..:)

Sounds about right!;)

Pep wouldn't call Bailly if he wanted him? Not having it.

One more note on Bailly - last week, Marca ran a story saying Real Madrid and other top European clubs were fuming that Guardiola was continually calling potential new signings and convincing them to move to City.

Real wanted Marlo Moreno and Gabriel Jesus - but Pep’s interventions means the pair are now likely to join City instead.

The idea, then, that he wouldn’t have personally called Eric Bailly if he’d wanted him at City seems somewhat fanciful.

Sounds to me like the United PR machine is in full swing.

They're like sad exes on Facebook, putting up pics of their new love interest pretending they're happy how things turned out.

If Pep had wanted Bailly I'd have been worried we'd appointed the wrong manager.

Its really irk'ing the press and UTD that not only did Gabriel Jesus chose city over their shit club, but over the likes of real and barca too. This is typical spin from a very bitter press.

Also why would city want another mangala>? Pep likes ball playing centre backs and this guy is not in that mould. Furthermore there is no way Yaya would try and get him to come as he knows he's on his way sooner or later.
