Looks like theyve been reading this forum for a sunday headline. The media in this country are utter scum and havent got an original thought or story in there very tiny minds.

I think a lot of people really underestimate Mangala's passing.

Because he's very ungainly, and nervous under pressure he's gotten a reputation as not being able to do anything with the ball at his feet, but he's actually very good at passing, especially if afforded any time on the ball.

It's a feature of every scouting video before we signed him - and I remember it being talked about as one reason we'd be interested in him.

It's one reason I haven't completely given up on him, I think he needs to improve his short passing and his dealing with pressure - but that is something that everyone will improve on under pep - he basically just needs a lot of rondo-style practice.

The ability is in there somewhere.

problem is when you watch his City youtube highlights.....looks like a different person! His Porto highlights are alot more impressive but I think that comes down to the prem being a lot stronger league and level of competition is alot higher..

We paid 14mil for him and he's 3 years older and in last year of his contract. sadly I wouldnt expect much more.....If we had 11 with his heart and workrate last year we might have done alot better!;)
