Why?
We kept the second most clean sheets last season and had the 4th best defence in terms of goals conceded - 6 worse than the best, Spurs.
This is with a manager who used the full backs as wingers and who's defensive midfielder was Yaya Toure.
If we had the exact same defenders as last year I'd be confident that under Guardiola we'd concede fewest goals in the league.
Our problem last year was not goals conceded (which remained fairly the same over Pellegrini's reign) but goals scored where we fell from 102, to 81 to 70.

Well I have a feeling that they may know their future a bit better if we can get Stones through the door sometime next week.With Zabs already being given a reprieve by Pep,somehow I just don`t think the two mentioned above will.

Somewhat, but we didn't miss out on a final place because of a poor defence. We didn't create anything over the two legs offensively.

You do know that with last years shit defence we got to the semi final of the CL.
Why? Because the defence looked all over the place I don't bother with stats I use my eyes and judge players performance on what I see
