Has to be the strangest signing yet. Tixi prob had a good idea Pep was coming or interested in coming when we signed mangler. I can't think of a CB who is so far removed from what Pep would want since Lescott and Dunne.
Whoever scouted mangler should be no longer at the club in my opinion. I don't profess to be an expert but I could recognise from some of the clips from Porto games that he was not exactly comfortable with the ball at his feet. Not something you can easily teach.
