General transfer rumours

So, the only option now is to buy Manola and loan him to Everton and pay 50% of his wages, then loan Bony to Napoli and pay 50% of his wages. What a brilliant business model! This must be the first time in history a club has to pay to sell 4 players. What went wrong?

Nothing went wrong. We have the best manager in the world and are now firmly a top 5 team in the World (on paper). To get to that point we have had to make decisions that seem to some to be bad decisions financially. The other perspective though...we now have a team that can win the CL. I expect the folks running this club are quite happy with how this has worked out.

How long have you been watching City Mate?

Some things never change, Paid fortunes for the likes of Trevor Francis, Micheal Robinson & Keven Reeves, and eventually ended up flogging them off, in football terms at any rate, for car boot sale prices

I must agree that mistakes are a lot less costly when you have sufficient money to cover them. I would much rather be in our current position, than struggling to flog Jamie Pollock off to somebody. quicksmart, for the price of a pot of whitewash, so that the pitch could be marked out the following week
