How much are we paying to sell players?
Whatever is necessary. Money is meaningless this summer...it is all about squad spots.

So, the only option now is to buy Manola and loan him to Everton and pay 50% of his wages, then loan Bony to Napoli and pay 50% of his wages. What a brilliant business model! This must be the first time in history a club has to pay to sell 4 players. What went wrong?

Nothing went wrong. We have the best manager in the world and are now firmly a top 5 team in the World (on paper). To get to that point we have had to make decisions that seem to some to be bad decisions financially. The other perspective though...we now have a team that can win the CL. I expect the folks running this club are quite happy with how this has worked out.
also, does no one think that all this subsidizing wages was anticipated by the bean counters? chill out everyone, city know what they are doing!!
Yep,we never had full houses in his time ... allegedly . ;) 72,000 some games and he always claimed something like 12,659.I have slightly more faith in our owners than I had in Peter Swales .
I must agree that mistakes are a lot less costly when you have sufficient money to cover them. I would much rather be in our current position, than struggling to flog Jamie Pollock off to somebody. quicksmart, for the price of a pot of whitewash, so that the pitch could be marked out the following weekNothing went wrong.
