Maybe if you used glauber no show instead
Anyways whoever you support your welcome as long as you don’t kiss red shirt bullet hole
Die hard local City fan. Go to all home and some aways. Hate the red shite just like every other blue.

Initial contacts have taken place for Emi Martinez. He’s ready to say yes to Manchester United.[@FabrizioRomano]

Why does he want to leave Aston Villa?
Anybody know?
Wages, I would guess.
They know they're gonna get fortunes playing for a club that is desperate.
This isn't an anti-utd post this is just a fact that they (Amorim, Berrarda, Wilcox etc...) need to get players in and will pay big wages to make up for their lack of CL football.

Also Villa missing out on CL will have cost them a fortune and will force them to sell.

He looks on the way down as a goalie to me making mistakes a lot last season but they probably want someone who has authority in the squad

I disagree. Every club makes mistakes even us who very well run like Liverpool. I could flip that and say they got 40 million for an ageing Fabinho, let go of Milner and Henderson and paid under 120m for 3 quality midfield players, which ultimately won them the title this last season. Other clubs like Chelsea are paying 200 million plus for less quality.

Salah and Van Dijk are well worth the money they are being paid. Those types of players aren't about in the market anymore, and they're still at the tops of their games as shown last season. Trent I agree with, huge mistake but they probably thought Trent would always sign a contract. Possible arrogance on their part.
Yes they are so well run they have won two titles in the the past 36 years while spending nearly a billion, definitely the signature of a well run club, the recency bias over the dippers at the moment is incredible

They’ve spent well over a billion haven’t they?

I know they were the first team in PL history to spend over a billion on transfers and not with the PL, incidentally Spurs were the second.

To be fair the people running them haven't been in place for most of those 36 years. The two titles have come whilst they have been running them and they have been up against possibly the best manager the PL has seen and have run us pretty close.
They are undoubtedly a pretty well run outfit.
