General transfer rumours

I would not wish Sergio out of the door anytime soon. But anything over 70mil plus for him, assuming City have suitable replacement in mind would seem like good business, rather than see him walk away from the club for nothing. The key would be identifying how we replace his goals would they be shared amongst the wingers and attacking midfielders or do we bring in a specialist like Sergio, but who has the capacity to adapt to Peps tactical expectations of his front man.

I couldn't tolerate Kun leaving on 199 goals.

Aguero has been loyal to our side and seems to have changed his style and to have done his best to play the way Pep wants.

So for me... we owe him; keep Aguero around while looking for a future top striker. But don't trade him unless he really wants to go.

Oh. So, although the French league is shit, it is still possible for a French club to have one or more good players?

Noted.
Hmmmm! I'm surprised you are making this argument.

The issue here is not whether Fekir is good or whether one could find great players in the French league: Rather the question is whether stats culled from the French league are directly comparable to those culled from the Prem.

Sure, no cross league stats are perfectly fair. But the general sense is that stats from Spain, Germany and England are fairly comparable. Then Italy slightly less so, and France even less so.

Your responses to @BJL_City are not even addressing the point of contention. Whether some good players play in France and later succeeded in the Prem is wholly irrelevant in a discussion about whether comparing one's stat in France directly to another's in England is fair. :(

Won't even begin to imagine how low you thought of Mendy and Bernardo Silva in that case.
I am only going by what tevez city is saying about fekir being that much better in every stat over mahrez who looks like a city player now. One plays in the Premier league for a low team and one plays in the French league. I think it's justified too be honest. Depay is a prime example.

Indeed.
Securing Allison/Oblak or some other top keeper and retaining Salah would be job done. Anything else would be gravy.

Klopp is doing a fantastic job at Liverpool.

He'll have to win something first before I think you could say he's doing a fantastic job. Guardiola, Conte and PEG all joined the Premier League more recently than Klopp and all have won trophies.

4th and on less points than the previous season isn't really that impressive.

Salah asked his agent to find him a move this summer?
Lol candle stock market will hit the roof . Maybe perfect time to invest in candle stock .

Joe Hart is likely to reject the chance to join Portuguese club Sporting, whose proposal of a two-year deal falls well short of his £120,000-a-week wages. [Daily Mail]

He's considered to be one of the best passing midfielders in @SerieA_TIM and if reports are to be believed, Jorginho to @ManCity is a done deal. @Mahrez22 is also said to be joining him.
