General transfer rumours

Fanatik report Galatasaray have agreed personal terms with Manchester City defender Jason Denayer and that their vice president Abdurrahim Albayrak and board member Sukru Hanedar will fly to England to finalise the deal.

Denayer spent last season on loan with the Turkish champions, with reports the Belgian is keen to return to Istanbul.

According to Fanatik, Manchester City are looking to sell Denayer but they haven’t received the right offer for a permanent move, so they may need to loan him out again.

This needs to be pinned at the top of the transfer forum to remind everyone that players don't actually mind missing the last few days of their holiday in order to get their dream move.

Yes, but he’s only had to fly in from Blackpool Airport. He’s then got more than enough time to have his medical, sign for the Dippers and fly back in time for high-tea at the Ours Next Year Guest House before shooting off to the Tower Ballroom to celebrate his transfer by dancing the night away to the music of Joey Scouse and his Klanfield ‘Istry Boys.

Add a punch-up and it would be the perfect evening.

This one is a joke. As if he doesn’t get embarrassed being continually loaned out and continually failing to impress wherever he goes.

Sooner he’s cut loose the better

Where did you hear that?
Terrible source but I just found it quickly on Daily Mail. I think I heard it a while back before that on a Podcast or something. I won't be surprised however, Fifa are missing out on a huge slice of cash by letting agents run free. Why not make up some kind of tax or fee that they have to be paid to authorise any transfers.

Can't see it, they've spent the last decade removing restrictions on their mates agents.

Sky rumour is United about to get 14m +4m in bonus for Blind from Ajax.

Very good deal for a flop.

Its like Porto would offer 20m for Mangala for us. I wish...

Since when Ajax has cash? They haven't made any significant sales either. Its quite funny that other clubs flops are ready take big wage cut but someone like Mangala just is not. Do we just give huge loyalty bonuses or what?

I imagine because we do things the right way, we always try to be professional etc. The filth have probably had Ryan Giggs handing round his missus and Maureen throwing boots at him in the changing room.

As to Ajax having money, they have made some serious cash over the last three years selling young talent (Sanchez alone was about 35-40 wasn't he?) and they've made a few sales this summer as well (Kluivert was over 10 if I remember right) so with the way transfers are amortized etc I think they can afford to have a big summer every now and again. Especially when they will likely make 100 million + off the next crop of youngsters who are in the team now.

At the moment I don't see Chelsea all of a sudden turning into a Sarri team with their current squad. If they end up bringing in 250mil+ for players leaving I will be concerned with what they do with it.

West Ham making good signings however, really backing Pellers which is good as I didn't think they would and would panic sack him if they weren't doing well (could still happen) but they have put themselves in a good position to do well next year.
