To be fair to Arsenal (and I hate being fair to Arsenal) it’s difficult to know what a post COVID-19 world price is. Yes I know we’re not exactly post COVID-19 but you know what I mean. I suspect overall the market would be depressed. You’ll get less for Maddison but the replacement you target in theory should be cheaper too. Unfortunately the market hasn’t found a level yet. Obviously nobody told Daniel Levy though.
 
How the fuck Lukaku ends up being 95m pounds when 3 days ago there were rumours of them paying 130m pounds for him.

Great signing for Chelsea btw, if Tuchel can get same form out of Lukaku as he had at Inter last two seasons then its a huge upgrade on the likes of Abraham and Werner and probably 10-15 points more.
 
Roma and Mourinho after Abraham from Chelsea. seemingly 40m euros deal, could be with loan plus option and Roma only can pay in installments but thats still not bad money. thas a player not rated by Tuchel.
funny how lower table PL clubs could easily afford him for this money while Italians are always come up with these complicated offers and then Inter still owes a lot of Lukaku fee to United. would be fun if that still case years after they sell him to Chelsea now lol.

I was surprised Southampton/Palace weren't been sniffing around this deal. And I actually rate him.
However, listening to Monday Night Club on 5 live, they were saying he's on £130-140k a week!!!!!

Honestly if he's worth £34m then Laporte, Bernardo and Jesus should go for nothing less than £60m-£70m each.

Yea fair enough. Im still thinking of the likes of Oscar a few years ago. There have been quite a few others aswell. Still seething we only got about £10m combined for Tevez, De Jong and Dzeko.
