That's actually an astute squad filler signing if you need it. I don't see why you don't just give partey what he wants though who is the better player. they surely can't be £10m apart in demands. What they should actually be doing is buying better players and the likes of Merino become the squad filler. At this rate it's costing them money for downgrades.

We have a sell on clause of 10% on Gittens, we will get £25m + for McAtee and there is a "query" on the Quansah valuation

While £70m+ for Livramento is mad, it seems "reasonable" if those two are priced like that.
