If Salah and Gakpo are injured they have no natural out and out wingers to replace them. They would only have the 16 year old they brought on v Newcastle. Arsenal have Trossard/Martinelli and City have Savinho/Doku as back ups.

If they then sell Elliot, their squad is threadbare.

Penny pinching? Behave. We've spent a fortune since January. Liverpool and Chelsea have also had to sell a load to buy too. Chelsea only got Garnacho this week because they sold that kid to Dortmund and Nkunku to Milan.

savinho might not even make the bench this weekend we have that many players, and thats with gundogan, kovacic, gvardiol, akanji and ortega not making the bench.

The problem is we've spent a fortune on players that we barely play such as Gonzalez and Khusanov while they spent even more on the players that are better and are also starters. The only players we've bought that are a 'finished product' are Marmoush and Reijnders.

10 in 24 in La Liga last season for a team that got relegated is a pretty decent return. Just turned 23. Worth a punt at that price if you're Dortmund

Our squad is unbalanced and we have ???’s in a few areas. Questions remain at Goalkeeper. No RB, far too many centre halfs (a few who are very injury prone). Only 1 left back. Rodri only just coming back from a bad injury. Too much inexperience out wide on either flank.

Liverpool have Endo, Jones, Elliott, Gravenberch, aswell as the 2 players you mentioned plus a few youngsters!! They are well set up in Midfield and attack (especially if Isak goes there). Defence is a bit light, probably need another Centre halfs! If they get Guehi, they will be well set for the season! Them or Arsenal will win it imo!

There's no other club on Earth where Rashford and Garnacho emerge immediately as viable starting XI players in big games then just get worse and worse aged 18 onwards.

I actually hope Garnacho does well at Chelsea and puts a hat trick past them. Kisses the badge, the lot.

Maybe I'm blasé but until theres evidence that they have any players remotely near the level of two blokes over 33 in Van Dijk and Salah I regard them as in decline.

Not to mention how important Alison, Robertson and TAA were. Arguably Diaz too.

Endo is like having Kalvin. Jones is average. Gravenberch is really good.

We're close to Donnaruma who is oen of the best keepers in the world

Our squad is massive, there literally is no space unless we sell players, top players can even make our bench
