General Videogame Thread

Had a bonus of a birthday yesterday. Managed to order a PS5 and got an occulus quest 2 as well!.

Has anyone managed to get the PS remote play to work on the Occulus? you can apparntly side load the app and have it work OK but seeing reports of some issues so wondering if anyone here has done it?

would be epic to use when the wife wants to use the TV.

Hasn't been fluid for many years. Great game in concept, but the connection and lag issues render it unplayable.

They should give up on any premise of single player too. They look great, but if you pay attention to the AI, it's garbage. No one with you does anything, once you notice your mate and an enemy shooting at each other from a yard away for minutes on end, you can't unsee it, all the time.

Picked up Resi Village. About 2 hours in and it's pretty decent. Seems a bit easy though even on hardcore mode.

Been dipping my toe into the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Never played it before but I am absolutely loving the story.

Also stuck in Biome 5 of Returnal. I have such a love/hate relationship with that game.

Fractured my shoulder on Monday so off work for a bit - started a new game of RDR2 to see if I can finally get into it a bit more. Slow start but starting to enjoy it a bit more now.

Ouch mate. How’d you do that?
First game of football in a year and someone threw in a late challenge, landed very awkwardly and just knew something wasn't quite right - there's soft tissue and nerve damage involved as well so not the most positive return to kicking a ball!

Adding on my post, I've been making my way through RDR2 and have to say it's worth the slow start - really enjoying it now and starting to get attached to the characters which is rare for me in games now.
