General Videogame Thread

anyone playing Elden Ring? Im struggling to get anywhere with it.

Beginning to regret and take a punt on it.

bad news for me, its a digital ps5 so i'm unable to trade it in.

Stick with it! If you haven’t ever played darks souls games It’s takes time to get used to the game mechanics!

It’s about keep killing the easy enemy and getting you level up and most important in this game is levelling up your weapon…

thats what I've been doing, just the bosses I keep bumping into.

I might book a day off work and just focus on it

I struggled at first with it and never played anything as hard as it before. Once you get past the 'everything kills me in one hit' stage and start exploring the world, its a truely epic game. Stick with it and you won't be disapointed.

Thanks Will. I will do.

One of my work colleagues shares his screen when online and he's on like live 100 plus

Cheers, the videos are a great help they really are. Its so daunting at first, must of started about 10 times already but quickly picking it up. Very addictive game and really takes me back to being a kid and playing sim city.

Yep, I play a lot of cities skylines. There’s a few very good YouTube vids, it’s a game where it takes a bit of time to work out what your individual playing style is.

Cities Skylines is excellent. But I've recently acquired Cities VR (a licensed version on Oculus Quest 2 VR Headset) - whilst it doesn't have the huge detail of Cities Skylines, or its mod-ability yet, the immersiveness is truly awesome!

How many people on here actually own an Oculus Quest 2? VR is most definitely the future in the gaming space.
